"Controversy Rocks UWRFA Division 2 Middle League as  Two Promising team faces prominent  Protest Cases"

In a shocking turn of events, the Upper West Regional Football Association's Division Two Middle League has been rocked by two protest  cases after match day three. Wa United football club has filed two protest cases, one against Wa Power Sporting Club and another against Wa FC , also known as Sore Nanti.

The first protest case filed by Wa United is against Wa Power Sporting Club, claiming that the club used an unqualified player and an unregistered team official in their opening match on June 9, 2023. This violation of league regulations has prompted Wa United to take action and seek justice.

The second protest case filed by Wa United is against Wa FC . The club alleges that Wa FC used a player with double registration and for failing to pay a fine , a clear violation of league rules. These two protest cases were disclosed to Radio Progress News by Alhassan Erasung Taajudeen, the Public Relations Officer of Wa United and a Sports Journalist.

Taajudeen expressed confidence that Wa United would win both cases and continue their quest in the league. He revealed that the club has submitted the protest cases to the RFA disciplinary committee. If successful, these victories would secure Wa United a place in the national division one league.

In addition to the protest cases, Taajudeen shed light on the challenges faced by Wa United. He explained that the team has been plagued by injuries, with four of their starting eleven players currently sidelined. These injuries have made it difficult for the team to execute their usual tactics. Furthermore, Taajudeen acknowledged that the team has also made unpardonable mistakes, further impacting their performance.

While discussing the league's officiating, Taajudeen voiced concerns about poor officiating, particularly in matches involving Wa United. He alleged that the RFA seems to favor certain clubs, with Wa United being drawn against the top favorites in the first three matches of the season.

Meanwhile, Naa Sulemana, the PRO of the UWRFA and a veteran sports journalist, confirmed that the RFA has received the two protest cases and revealed that a third case is on its way. He assured that the RFA Disciplinary Committee is diligently working to pass judgment on all three cases by Friday, June 16, 2023. Sulemana also hinted that some of the protest cases may be withdrawn based on information from a reliable source.

Looking ahead, match day 4 is set to continue at Wa Park on June 15, 2023. Wa United will face Hilla Stars at 8:30 am, followed by Golden FC clashing with Wa FC at 11 am. The final match of the day will see Douri- Based  Club Wa Power SC and Eva Stars competing at 3 pm.

The current league standings after match day 3 are as follows:

1. Wa Power SC - 9 points

2. Golden FC - 9 points

3. Wa FC - 6 points

4. Hilla Stars - 1 point

5. Eva Stars - 1 point

6. Wa United - 0 points

As the league continues and the protest cases unfold, fans and stakeholders anxiously await the decisions of the RFA Disciplinary Committee. The outcome of these cases could significantly impact the standings and reshape the future of the UWRFA Division 2 Middle League.
