The Upper West Regional chairman for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), S.B Kangbere says the opposition are not ‘appreciative’ of efforts made by the New Patriotic Party administration, to bring development to Ghana.
The chairman, made the comment in an exclusive interview with radioprogressonline.com at his Wa residence over the weekend.
“First time in our political history that we have seen a government from day one implementing some of the things it has promised to do. But you know…that of course people who do not share our ideology will never see all the good things we are doing even if we bring gold. They will do everything to discredit us to get political power,’’ he said.
He continued that even if the government is not able to deliver on all its promises, Ghanaians will see that they have started well by implementing most of their major campaign promises.
He mentioned the implementation of the Free Senior High School, planting for food and jobs and the one village one dam policies as evidence of government’s commitment to deliver on his promises.
“All the things the President promised to do when given the nod, we have started implementing most of them,’’ the chairman said.
S.B Kangbere jabbed the opposition for engaging in pettiness by discrediting the one village one dam policy. According to the chairman, the opposition description of the dams sizes as small and cannot serve their intended purpose is a flop and a desperate attempt to win political power.
