The Son of Alhaji Mumuni Abudu Seidu, Seidu Abudu Junior led his two other siblings to officially adopt a dormitory block named after their father by Authorities of the Wa Senior High School.
The adoption on Saturday formed part of activities to commemorate the 80th birthday celebration of their father.
The family renovated the adopted house named after the former headmaster of the school to a tune of GH₵3,000.
They later presented other items like detergents, toiletries, a drying line and a bag of cement to the school authorities.
Seidu Abudu Junior presenting the items on behalf of the family indicated that though the dormitory was name after his father, they have not been able to assist the house.
He said once they have adopted the house, they will continue to be of support to the students and the entire school.
Mr Carlos Ballanse the senior house master for Wa Senior High School receiving the items on behalf of school thanked the family for their support.
He described Alhaji Mumuni Abudu Seidu as one of the best educationist the region can boost of.
Alhaji Mumuni Abudu Seidu is a Ghanaian politician and a former Minister of State without portfolio.
He served as the Member of Parliament for Wa Central from 1992 to 2004.
He also served as the Headmaster for Wa Senior High School in 1972 and a regional Director of Education.
