DECISION NOT TO CONTEST IN THE UPCOMING PARLIAMENTARY PRIMARIES
As the National Democratic Congress opened nominations for parliamentary primaries towards the 2020 general elections, I wish to state my position;
I have listened to calls from our dear delegates, elders and party members to contest the Wa Central seat of our dear party. I have reviewed same and done broader consultations on same and have decided not to contest whilst I concentrate on my role as Regional Organiser for the mean time.
I appreciate and respect the confidence reposed in me by our party branch executives, elders, women and youth as well as key senior members of our party and wish to commend them for their support so far.
I will like to assure the rank and file of the party of my unflinching support towards ensuring that we win all the seats as well as the presidential election in the region, come 2020.
I wish all aspirants the best of luck
Hon. Issahaku Nuhu-Putiaha,
