RFA Chairman hopeful and retired FIFA referee, Dajang Naa Seidu Bomison has submitted his nomination forms as he seeks to become the next RFA chairman in the upper west region.
Seidu Bomison as he is widely known stated his interest in contesting the incumbent, Alhaji Sadugu Yahaya in the last few years and he has now made that interest formal by submitting his forms on Friday, September 20.
Seidu Bomison, for a long an ally of the RFA boss, found himself removed as the RFA vice chairman some years back and he is now set to wrestle the top office with his former boss who he has worked under for 8 years.
A message posted on social media by his campaign team read “Dajang Naa Seidu Bomison has successfully submitted his nomination form. The battle still continue to be that of the Lord’s.”
Now that Seidu Bomison has submitted his forms, they will be reviewed and if there are no issues, he will head to the vetting which will be done between September 26th and October 1.
Alhaji Sadugu Yahaya has been in office for close to 14 years and he is seeking reelection for another 4 year term.
However he is racing against time to prove his innocence after he is alleged to have breached articles 19 and 20 of the 2019 FIFA rules and regulations
