The multiple award winning and celebrated dancehall act made this revelation on Wa based Radio Progress 98.1 fm on Wednesday, 4th November 2020 during an interview with Dj TJ.
Progress Upper West Music Awards Scheme (PRUMAS) is the biggest music awards scheme in the Upper West Region that is being organized annually by Radio Progress 98.1 fm.
The 2020 edition was held on Saturday, 31st October, 2020 in the regional capital, Wa.
Bwoywan emerged as the New Artiste of the Year whilst the biggest award of the night, Artiste of the Year, was won by Best Gally.
He said it is not surprising Best Gally won Artiste of the Year because he is a very serious and talented young act.
Getting Samini to collaborate with these artistes is just one of the many impressive things to happen to PRUMAS this year.
The awards scheme saw the new board chairman, Nuhu Tuurosung (Echosoundz), make laudable improvements including a first ever nominees’ seminar, a USSD code for bulk voting, nominees and fans’ free health screening and a host of other activities that sought to educate, promote artistes and also nurture the young talents in the region.
We are optimistic that Samini’s collaboration with Best Gally and Bwoywan will promote massively, these musical talents and the Upper West music industry as a whole.
Congratulations to Best Gally and Bwoywan for their awards and for the upcoming collaboration.
