Outgoing District Chief Executive DCE for Wa East Honourable Dr Moses Jotie has expressed gratitude to the President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo for giving him the opportunity to serve as DCE and contribute his quota towards executing his agenda in the area in his first term of government.
A statement dated September 19, 2021 and signed by the Outgoing DCE for Wa East Moses Jotie disclosed that His Excellency President Nana Akufo Addo in line with the constitutional obligation released the name of the Presiding Member of the Wa East District Assembly Dr Ewurah Sulemana Kandia as the nominee for the position of District Chief Executive.
Mr Jotie thanked the New Patriotic Party family in the Wa East Constituency, Honourable Assembly Members, Traditional Authorities, Religious Leaders, Non-Governmental Organizations, Members of the District Security Council, Management of the Assembly and other stakeholders for the collaboration and coorporation accorded him throughout hia tenure.
“I am happy to state that with your support, the district under my watch had it’s fair share of developmental projects and programmes, however there is still more to be done”. Outgoing DCE said.
Mr Jotie entreated all stakeholders particularly honourable Assembly Members to unanimously approve his friend Dr Ewurah Sulemana Kandia who is the President’s nominee for the district as DCE.
“I remain a willing, available, and grateful servant of the Wa East District”. He said.
